Sarah is a Biology graduate and fully qualified teacher. She started working with families whose children were using night time positioning in 1998, this work ignited a passion that has led to 20 years in this field. Sarah is a specialist in Measurement of Body Symmetry and is never happier than when she is working directly with families and individuals who need this specialist support.

Anna Waugh has been the managing director of Simple Stuff Works Associates Ltd for the past 10 years. The company has been providing award winning therapeutic positioning equipment and accredited training in protection of body shape services across the UK and internationally.

Rachel Wright BSc (Hons) RN

Rachel is an independent trainer, nurse, award winning blogger, speaker, trainer and mum living in Essex with her GP husband and three sons; one of whom has severe disabilities and life-limiting epilepsy. As well as doing laundry and endlessly trying to tidy away toys, she blogs at Born at the Right Time and won the 2018 BAPs award for ‘Blogger ‘Making a Difference’ whilst being a finalist in the ‘Practical advice for families’ category.

Joanna Grace is an independent trainer, Sensory Engagement and Inclusion Specialist, Author, TEDx speaker and Founder of The Sensory Projects. Consistently rated as Outstanding by Ofsted Joanna has taught in mainstream and special school settings, connecting with pupils of all ages and abilities.


Dr Marnie Aston

Marnie is an independent trainer who gained her Phd from the Tavistock and Portman Clinic London researching and eliciting young people’s views about Mental Health Promotion in Schools.   

Throughout Marnie’s career she has developed whole school listening services, was central to the development of a CAMHS in Schools Listening project, has developed Child Centred Reviews and meetings, has developed and delivered various training and workshops based on relationships, listening, compassion and kindness.   


Sharon Sutherland MISCP, MNAPTA

Sharon is an independent physiotherapist and trainer who specialises in the field of Postural Care, Seating, Positioning and Mobility.  Since the late 80’s Sharon has been conducting hands on assessments for individuals presenting with more complex postural needs. She has learned to recognise that positive measurable change truly happens through 24-hour postural care as opposed to through the seating solution alone.


Dr David Lee

Dr David Lee is an independent trainer who established Sleep Unlimited Ltd in 2003. It is a company specialising in the assessment and treatment of the full range of sleep problems, and in the delivering of training to healthcare professionals to enhance their practices in this important, but often neglected, area of health care provision.  


Katie Rose White

The Best Medicine was founded by Katie Rose White, and independent trainer, in 2014 and grew from her interest in playfulness. After graduating in Contemporary Applied Arts Practice, Katie trained as a Laughter Facilitator and began running regular workshops in her local community.
